CALEB JAGO-WARD is a Auckland based vocalist and theatre artist best known for his appearances on The Voice Australia and Coca Cola Christmas in the Park.
Most recently Caleb appeared starred in the GMG Productions NZ production of Cinderella as wicked step sister Cashmere.
In 2020, Caleb was invited back to The Voice Australia as an All-Star artist in Team Boy George following his initial television appearance in 2015 where he progressed to the Top 8 under the guidance of Australia’s songbird, Delta Goodrem. Subsequently, Caleb embarked on a New Zealand national tour of The Power of Ten with The Ten Tenors, performed a Trans-Atlantic season of Priscilla Queen of the Desert as Felicia, and then was handpicked to perform internationally as lead vocalist for the Australian ballroom powerhouse Burn the Floor.
Returning home in 2018, Caleb went on to perform in the critically acclaimed season of Jesus Christ Superstar at The Court Theatre as Judas, and then as Galileo in the Showbiz Christchurch production of We Will Rock You. Then came a world first, as Caleb portrayed the first gender bent interpretation of ‘Killer Queen’ for Clarence Street Theatre’s run of We Will Rock You.
His other credits include: Hidden Sydney, High Fidelity the Musical, Little Shop of Horrors, Hairspray (Auckland and Wellington) Buttercup’s Big Break, Peppa Pig Treasure Hunt! Live (Australia, Singapore, The Philippines), Grease and NZ original musical 1931.
Caleb also produces and hosts his own podcast Crazy. w/Caleb Jago-Ward which is a series of personal conversations and stories filtered through the prism of mental health, encouraging an honest and raw discussion about mind health and survival. It’s available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts and Google.
