Louisa Talbot

Louisa was a soloist in the Cape Dance Company for 21 years.

Her other dance and performance experience includes Jazzart dance theatre, Free Flight dance company and Bovim ballet.

Her Musical credits are Showboat, Grease, We Will Rock You (Associate Resident choreographer), High School Musical (Resident choreographer), The Rocky Horror Show (choreographer and resident director), Matilda the Musical SA and international tour (Associate choreographer).

Television includes “So You Think You Can Dance top 20 Finalist”. Louisa was nominated for a Naledi theatre award for best choreography for the Rocky Horror Show (2015).

Theatre original choreography credits include Cabaret, West Side Story, Funny Girl, Kinky Boots (The Fugard theatre), Don Giovani (Cape Town Opera), Orphee and Eurydice (Cape Town Opera), Chicago the Musical (Staatstheater Braunschweig/Germany).

Film credits include “Honey 3″ as choreographer/supervising choreographer (Universal Pictures), “Iris Warriors” as lead shadow dancer, “Kanarie” as choreographer (Human capital Films) director Christiaan Olwagen, “Bring it on – All stars” (Universal pictures) directed by Robert Adetuyi, The Kissing Booth (Netflix).

In 2018 Louisa won a Naledi theatre award for her choreography on West Side Story.
